I'm trying to install Linux (Red Hat 7.1) on an old PC that has Win95 on it. How can I get the PC to boot from CD so I can install this baby?

Possible solution is to set the CDROM drive to be the first boot device in your BIOS.

Yeah I just did and it's working.

Now it's asking to do partitions, what should they be? Which ones do I need to create?

How? It's in Disk Druid and it says I need to make some room for RedHat. How can I let it do it?

delete the windows partiton. Make 2 partions. one of about 128mb at mount point /swap (swap partition)

and one that takes up the rest of the disk, at mount point / (root)

That's the simplest way to do it.

Which should I pick for the package? (GNOME, KDE, or Games?) Or should I select them all?
