Hello.. all..

i have a question about redhat 9... I had just install it in my pc. but the problem is i can't connect it to adsl.

i had login into root and type adsl-setup and setting up all the details.

then after finish, i type adsl-start and adsl connect but i still cant connect..

can anyone tell me the prob...

or.. could you guys give me a step by step how to do it, as i'm afraid that i miss something important

need more information about your setup.

are you using an external modem that connects to a network card, or are you using an internal modem?

Well that output means that your network card is working 🙂

eth0 is your ethernet card. So now it's just a software issue with PPPoE
 
Buy a cheap router and use DHCP. (The easiest way I know of getting internet setup in linux 🙂 )
If you have a microcenter close to you I know they have a wired and wireless router for $15 each AR. Check your local computer stores.
