I have a pair of these; the sound would be much improved if they sealed more tightly (they fit somewhat loosely on my head). At $13 you can't go wrong here if you're looking for cheap, decent headphones.

Have HD 201s at home so I ordered a pair to replace the uncomfortable HD 205s I have at work. Can't lose at this price!

So these won't block outside noises? Cause I need a replacement pair for work and I need to be able to hear my phone ring and/or my coworkers when they come into my office.

Dead again? I grabbed one already, should've bought two and sent one to my dad who's in need of some decent cans.

Liking it so far, never heard what's supposed to be decent sound coming from headphones before. People that like loud music may want to get a E3 or E5 pocket amp; other forums seem to say that's what makes these "shine." My onboard sound does well enough to drive them for my ears.

Thanks SunnyD.

This is a fairly warm deal with free shipping. Regularly $50/$40 phones.

Bought them.

Might want to edit the title to reflect this deal instead.

I hear a lot about the 202's drowning out the highs, the graphs over at headphone.com verify this claim.

This is the freq response of the 201's:

vs. the 202's:

I'm really enjoying the clarity of the 201's with certain songs, but I do find myself wishing there was more bass response for rap/hip-hop and certain rock. The 202's has a fair number of dips over in the high range and the lows definitely look to be overpowering. Safe to say I'm going to EQ every source and drop the 100 and 1000 frequencies to compensate. I'll report back once I've received them.
