I usually don't start things like this as far as Ale, but man this is a bit different.

Saw this one sale and bought a couple cans as a promotional thing at 1$ a 25 oz can when we went to the store shopping just to try it out.

Definitely different.

My wife almost never drinks, and when she does it's usually not beer.

She took a sip when I told her to taste it, and kept coming over later taking sips and joking she was going to steal it and run off.

I'm usually not into fruity things, but is pretty good.

If I see it, I'll give it a try. Not usually into fruit, but it sometimes tastes good in the summer.

As an aside, my friend would like your cock :^D He used to raise chickens, and collects chicken stuff. That would be a nice addition to the collection.

When I broke up with a girlfriend recently she left some of that in my fridge. Not my normal cup of tea (by way of illustration, I am, at the moment, drinking 120-proof Knob Creek Single Barrel). One dry night I finally cracked into the Redd's - I can't say I liked it but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

That's my wifes Murano glass rooster, she wouldn't part with that 🙂

It was a gift to begin with so it's a bit special.

Just knowing it's Murano, maybe he could find one around.

It does seem a bit unique in the colors.

Even a few I was cruising at look to be a bit of fakes to me.

I'd have to say this stuff really surprised me, or I wouldn't have started a thread.

Have to say, I really like Redd's Apple Ale; I put it in the freezer 15 mins before I have one. Super crisp. I haven't tried the Wicked Apple yet, but it's on the list.

Bleh I don't know how anyone can drink any of these apple ales, they are disgusting and extremely sweet. They are made for women or girly men that don't drink.

Never had the Wicked. Had the regular. Everyone rushed to come out with something after Angry Orchard took off. Still feel nothing has topped it either. But I usually don't drink ciders.

A quick note for anyone who may think this is a normal cider and give it a try... the Redd's Apple drinks are NOT gluten-free. They are a flavored beer, not a cider. I realize that's not the main topic of this thread but I got extremely sick off of these and wanted to share the warning.

Damn, I haven't found a beer I like yet, but I like cider. I drink Woodchuck, and Angry Orchard is ok. On the other hand, Johnny Appleseed tastes like weak cider and a handful of green jolly ranchers, do not want. I haven't gotten around to trying Redd's yet.

Wtf is "hard ale" - is it gluten free or not? If not, gtfo of the hard cider market, kick it to the curb, and piss on it like should be done with Redd's cr@ppy Apple Ale.
