The management of the subreddit refused to ban the members. So ownership revoked their charter. Go ask the mods why they didn't do their jobs.

Reddit is a private company and as such is within their rights to shut down any sub they want. The flip side is that it's very clear that reddit, much like twitter is not friendly to conservatives. If you are conservative, reddit does not want you there, so find other places to go. Seeing how well this strategy is working out for twitter, I wish reddit equal amounts of success 😀

Exactly. Reddit's pretty liberal (heh) with how you can use their site and what kind of subreddits can be made... but when you start adding criminal elements into it, you're gone. This is what happened with /r/altright.
