Consider me checked in. Great game last night. I was amazed that Dice-K didn't choke, considering how he pitched the second half of the year.

Hate to admit it but Boston really has some team. They have not just the superstar talent, but the social synergy a winning team needs to win, something that Deeppockets Steinbrenner doesn't seem to understand as he randomly tosses superstars together like cattle. Sigh... maybe his kids have some sense and the Bombers will compete next year. Good luck in the series ^_^

Steinbrenner = Dan Snyder of baseball. BUt for the record, the Yankees do have a lot of die hard fans.

Yea, but it's against the rules to borrow another teams pitching staff, no way
the yankee pitching could match up with the sox.

lol

however the NYY did win more of the regular season match ups against the Sox their pitching was pretty bad, and really let them down in the post season, if they had gotten to the ALCS a sox/yanks series is always great, but i really dont think they could have pulled it out

I had faith - they came back against the Yanks a few years ago.

I think you will see the Yanks and the Sox try to develop more talent from their farm
system as signing older, established pitching gets too expensive and doesn't pan out
well. If I were a Yankee fan I would still be seething about the "bug" game. How in the
hell does an ump not stop that game? The man (Chamberlin) had a CRUST of bugs on
his neck and dozens more in his eyes. Tribe never even had to hit really, 2 walks, 2
wild pitches, 0 swings, game tied..
