Hope someone can help me, My special HP allinone touchsmart desk top PC quit working months ago, HP sent me the re-install disks, i tried the re install but every time i get afrozzen red screen with a message,i took a picture of the screen im hoping i can upload it here,

You need to upload the image to an image-hosting site, and then insert the URL for the image in-between IMG and /IMG tags (enclosed in square brackets).

"If a supplemental disc is part of your restore set, don't use it. When you launch your restore one of the first questions you should be asked by the restore process is do you have a supplemental disc, answer that question NO. The reimage should then proceed and finish without the red screen error."

Did you do a full restore without the Supplemental disc?

i was not able to access the hard drive to do a restore so I contacted HP and they sent me a 5 disk set of disks to do a complete windows 8 reinstall,after the 5th disk was done this red screen came up, and now it wont allow me to try and reinstall again, wont except the disks while the screen is red, so annoying!!

At this point, I would suspect some sort of hardware fault, either bad HDD, bad RAM, or overheating.

Can you download and burn a Linux Mint 17.2 Mate 64-bit edition ISO from http://www.linuxmint.com/ to a blank DVD? Then boot off of it, and start the "Disks" tool, and do the SMART self-tests, first the "short", then the "long". If either one of those fails, your HDD is going bad.
