Sometimes I splurge and get the clear ones with the little patch on it where you can write your name using your nail.

At my family parties, we have the blue/red/yellow ones and there are always Sharpie's around so that we can write our names on them. Easy and saves money that way. It is annoying at the end of a party throwing out 100 cups eventhough only 20 people were there because every time someone puts their cup down, they forget and just grab a new one.

I am not cheap, I just think it is wasteful.

Yep. Red cups and markers, brings back memories. And the depressing realization that I haven't been to a family gathering for a long time.

we use blue cups for pong and red cups for drinking out of. if you ponging with a red cup, GTFO. if you are drinking out of a blue cup, GTFO.
