RED HOT! $179 Queen Aerobed for $11.26 at Target B&M

ripped from lanzman over at FW...

Target B&M has queen sized Aero beds originally priced at $179 that scan as "Not on File". They are in the sporting goods department near the sleeping bags and tents and are in Purple and Black boxes. Not sure if these are on clearance or what, but if you have a manager scan it by DPCI# 091070175 they ring up at $11.26. YMMV. Awesome deal!

fyi - The DPCI# is some special lookup # for items "Not on File"

YMMV -- I was not able to get it at the $11.26 price at two different Targets.
The UPC code on the box does scan as "Not on File", but this DPCI # apparently is not in their system either.
If you are going to try this, I'd suggest you rip off the shelf tag before you take it up to front.
-- I didn't do that, and they just had a kid run back there and scanned the tag, it's $179.99!
🙁

I scored one at my local Target. I asked an lady employee to use her hand-scanner to scan the price. She punched something into her hand-scanner, then walked to the shelf, pointed the $179 price tag to me. I said my friend bought this for clearance. She said this bed was brand new, shouldn't be in clearance.

I walked away, asked another employee. This guy is pretty friendly. He works in photo department. He scanned the UPC, came with "Not in File". Then he punched some codes, told me "It is $11.26. It is pretty cheap". He tore a note, wrote down the price for me. What a nice sale guy!
Most cashers don't know how to check the price for the item with "Not in File". But it looks like the sale guys with the hand-price-scanner know how to deal with this.

D'oh! Didn't work for me..just came back from Target... shortly before closing..took the box to electronics dept..the guy tried scanning, called another employee who took me back to sporting goods... and the tag on the shelf had reappeared.

Looks like a nice air bed!

Good luck

Didn't work for me. I tried two target stores in northern Indiana, in both cases, sales person finally got the twin size aerobed price for me, which is $119.99. Bad luck!

i ran to target (chicago) and they were all out...nothing but a full price pink barbie house tent contraption two women were fighting over...better luck next time...

I tried this at my local target. Took it to the guy at the photo desk and he was able to bring up the $11 price, but then decided to call in his manager to verify. It turns out that Target just started stocking these this week, but they were not yet in the system. The DPCI # that was being looked up was for some unrelated product that they discontinued long ago.

So the $179 price was correct, it just took awhile for the manager to put it into the system.

🙁 🙁 🙁

Tried here in Lincoln, NE. It came up with not in the system but she went up front to check and couldn't find any record of that product with any kind of price. The shelf had $179 and she asked me where I got it from and said they would give it to me at that price so I reluctantly showed her and told her I didn't want it. She also said that they just started stocking it this week.

<< What is an Aerobed? >>

It's like a regular bed, but more aerodynamic so you sleep faster.....

I bought two beds (Queen and Twin) on Wednesday for $15.00 each. I almost didn't get the second because I was expecting the $11 price. The cashier, and whomever he called in sporting goods, came up with a $14.99 price for both the Queen and Twin (my receipt shows 'Greatland' as the product). It turns out these beds weren't a clearance item after all and the local Target stores have fixed the prices to $179 and $119 respectively. I guess I'll just ebay the extra bed. 🙂

Went by this afternoon, pulled one off the shelf and found a guy with a gun and asked for a price check. He scanned it and it came up at the price listed on the shelf. Looks like they're catching up, at least at this store...

When I first read this on a different board, I tried several stores. At the second one they had the twin size in sporting goods clearance with a clearance sticker on it for about $49. Knowing that people got it for less, I scanned it and it showed NOF. I took off the clearance sticker so they would have to look it up.
The cashier had to call a manager and he came up with the code and a price of $12.94. With no arguements, I took it.
At another store they had two twins, but not in the clearance section. I took those up to the register, showed the cashier the receipt with the DPCI number and price on it from the other store. She rang them both up no problem.
So many people are saying this is a new item, so how come I found one in clearance with a clearance price sticker on it?
Got 3 of them for a total of $42!!
