Red Hat Linux and PPPOE

guys, I am having Earthlink DSL service, and in windows I am using Winpoet to connect to DSL. I just set up my linux box, running Red HAt 6.2. Does anyone know how I can connect to DSL? I think I have to use something like PPPOE? I trie dto search for stuff on redhat.com and linuxnewbie.com but with no success. Can someone tell me the details and step, or provide me with a link on how to achieve that? All helps will be appreciated. Thank you so much.

I had the same question but just assumed it was impossible. I wanted to set up my q3a server on linux for better performance, but I had no idea how to set up the earthlink dsl.

I never bought linux to try it, but I figured that if I used my win98 machine to connect to the dsl, I could then run NAT software to allow the linux machine dsl access. I was thinking about trying either the free one in win98se or NAT32, which i had to get when I had a one-way cable modem (adelphia--it sucked for games, tied up the phone). Try www.nat32.com if you don't have 98se.

You in Charlottesville? As far as I know c'ville's the only sprint dsl place. Weird to start it there, huh?

GL and let us know if you get it to work.
