When Is Red Faction comming out or is it allready out? If its out someone let me know if its worth getting
from what ive seen of it, it looks good.
 
Where were you hiding, it's been out for a couple of months now? Anyway, it's a really good FPS and it's worth buying. Best FPS since half-Life in my opinion. Have fun with the engine! 😀
 
It came out a year ago. Lol. Anyways, its ok. Its definetly not the best FPS since Half Life though. It was made for the PS2 first, and then ported to the PC a few months later. And it shows. The story sucks, and the graphics suck. The Geomod feature is pretty cool, and the game is fun to play through once. If you can find a used copy for $20-$25, go for it.
 
I've finished the game three times and I absolutely love it. The weapon selection is the most comprehensive I've ever seen in a FPS and while the graphics aren't cutting edge, they're still very good. Also I really like the voice acting of the enemies.

Thats one of the things I don't like about the game. The voice acting is extremely repetitive.
 
I liked the game alot...It was a bit generic but the weapons were pretty cool. I especially like the railgun type weapon that had a heat sensor that could shoot through walls. Oh yeah the ending was a little bit of a let down but it was some good mindless fun.
 
I have only seen one advertizement for red faction and I thouth i looked cool but ill have to finnish building my new system before I can play it. Is there any good places I can order it from for less than $40.00 (thats wal marts price)

Well I'll admit they didn't have a wide range of things to say but the few key phrases sounded really funny especially when the guards yelled "don't shoot, I'm unarmed", while obiously carrying weapons.
 
I got bored of it when I hit that stealth level which you have to get through one of the enamies office complexes more or less unarmed.
