Nice 403 error there.

Amazing how it doesn't say "drag & drop".

I'm trying to understand... how does imprinting these dots into the film help catch the source of illegal distribution ? Or at least that's what I thought I read...

Makes no sense... anyone can tell if a local copy is pirated by the quality of the video... even screeners that have a warning ticker every few minutes...

Did authorities plan to catch people red-handed when they find these video files on their computers and say... ahah! There's the dots! Someone tell me they have a better plan than that...

They are more trying to use it to find out which theater/print the copy was made from so that they can confront the theater about it.

Each print has a different set of dots, so they just keep track of which theater has which dots and they can find out where the pirated version came from.

AHHH I see! (said the blind man...) ... well I'm reading on other boards the pirating encoders are stripping these out by frames... if it's noticeable to theatre-goers, it's easy enough to find and strip by the encoders...

The censor beeps are for her name. We are not supposed to know it until the 2nd Volume.

There is some tongue in cheek stuff regarding her name once you know it and think about previous scenes.

I saw them during Kill Bill. Had no idea what they were.. thought they were something subliminal that would come out in the plotline. Now I know better!

I saw them in Freddy Vs. Jason and Kill Bill.

Freddy vs Jason was released onto the net MONTHS before the release date. They had been removed before that time.

Actually it was released the on the net the same day it was due in theaters. Possibly thinking of Jason X?

They were in 4 or 5 places on Runaway Jury. :|

I complained, but didn't throw a total fit because it was a free preview screening
