Surprised no one has brought this up, it looks pretty cool. Think GTA set in the wild west, awesome I know.

They pretty much say that its going to be an open ended world LARGER than San Andreas, with the ability to influence the world (turn towns into ghost towns), etc...

I've always thought western games have mostly sucked, but this one looks promising, especially coming from Rockstar.
 
I'm a total sucker for Westerns and really enjoyed the original Red Dead game, Call of Juarez, Gun...shoot..even back in the days with Sunset Riders, Gunsmoke..etc. The new Juarez is coming next month and the trailer for Red Dead Redemption looks great. Looks like I'll get my western fix this year.
 
I posted about it, but no one seemed to notice (or care).

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this. The multiplayer modes that have been casually mentioned could be fun. Like trying to rob a train or defend it from being robbed.

hmm weird, when I searched for "red dead redemption" nothing came up.
