Hoping it's true, that's for sure. But at the same time, I'd be ultra-surprised if it was released next month. Talk about keeping a project under wraps! First I've heard of it.

Probably true, Rockstar's weird they waited years to port Bully. Of course we never got The Warriors, one of their games I wish we did. But this would be kick ass if it comes true. Between this and SSFIV I'm about to break down and buy an Xbox.

I wouldn't be surprised. They wanted to milk the console first like they have been doing lately. Since sales have dried up there, time to move the PC. I knew this would happen and just skipped the console version.

Worst case, if I was wrong I could pick it up on the PS3 for a hell of a lot cheaper then when it first came out :D

One of the few games I miss not finishing before I sold off my 360. I really enjoyed RDR and Undead.

Yahtzee's review notwithstanding, I'd love to play this. Seems there's folks who feel Rockstar hasn't done anything new with the series since GTA3, and others who feel each iteration since GTA3 has been the best game evar! And then people like me who feel there have been incremental improvements since GTA3 adding to a fairly standard formula which nevertheless doesn't get stale due to the awesome missions and stories and general mayhem. Whatever it is that I like, calling a game "GTA in the Old West" is to me not a warning but an exciting invitation.

That would be awesome. I don't know much about the game but it got really good reviews and sounds cool as hell.

Is it sort of like Gun?

Don't bother. I did that and I really regret it. The Xbox is just sitting there collecting dust. SSFIV is unplayable because I suck, and no matter how much I practice, I still cannot complete any trials or do any big combos. I wasted $150 on a fight stick, and that didn't improve my performance even a bit. If anything, it made me an even worse player.
To make things worse, I am away from home 13 hours every day, and I don't even have the time to play the damned thing. It takes space in my room, clutters my table and the space behind it with wires, and takes up an HDMI port. I bought Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake too, but I never even touched them. I just wish I never spent the money and bought a pair of good adjustable dumbbells instead... :(

I never finished Red Dead or Alan Wake before I sold off my 360. Imo both games are good and I'd really like to see them come to the pc.

Adjustable dumbbells... Ironmaster Quick Lock.

I looked at both the Power Blocks and Select Tech and hands down the Ironmaster are superior. I haven't regretted buying them for one minute.

Red Dead was overrated IMHO. If you have issues with the horrid GTA controls then I would advise you to pass on this one. I really didn't enjoy it because it uses those crud controls.

It's basically the same controls that have been in pace since GTA3 so they're never going to change. They're not the best but I've never had any problems using them.

The Wild West is a criminally underused setting in video games. I might pick this up once the price drops.

May I ask... why not beat them THEN sell the system?

I played through this on the PS3 and really liked it. I'm a bit biased since I'm a big fan of the old Clint Eastwood westerns - I wore the saddle blanket poncho for extra badass points, and some of the music is definitely reminiscent of classic Sergio Leone flicks. One of two games I've actually owned for the PS3. I use it plenty as a dvd/bluray/media player but was very happy to have it for a couple delayed PC releases I was looking forward to.(Assassin's Creed 2 was the other game.)

Would be great - I've always kind of counted on it being ported over but haven't ever seen anything concrete come up after the news broke that it wouldn't be on PC at release. As crowded as the release schedule is over the next few months, I'd make time for this.

That was back about the time I finish building my gaming rig. I got so wrapped up in so many good pc games (BC2, Metro 2033, Mafia 2, Medal of Honor, STALKER, Far Cry 2, etc.) that I never touched the 360 again.

I still have a ton of games in my Steam library that I haven't even started yet.

Pretty good news. I've put in a bunch of hours on the Xbox version, but I'm able to spend way more time gaming on the PC then I can on a console.

oh boy, a likely half-assed console port.

Probably, but I'll still buy it eventually. Some day it will be $5-10 on Steam and by then they'll probably have ironed out most of the game-breaking bugs.

I have it on PS3 but found it difficult to get into. Still, I think the game would have been better on the PC, given how good it looks on console. Toss in some enhanced graphics, better AA and AF.

It's not a difficulty issue, it's a lameness issue.
