Red Cold Cathodes

Anyone one have any luck finding red cold cathodes that look red and not pink?

what brand? i've had an svc cold cathode purple that looked almost white🙁

They were just the SVC brand. I don't use them too often, but when I do they like a pretty nice red. They are in a black case, with the interior black as well (not just black outside, and steal-silver inside). Also, I suppose it may help that the motherboard and video card (only PCB components in the case) are also MSI red. Regardless, when I tested them outside the case prior to installation, they looked great, a nice red color. I also have one outside my case as lighting for a piece of "art". It is lighting for a motherboard I have hanging on my wall. It failed to work, after three returns. I thought it looked nice and would make for fun wall hanging material. 😉 It's an older Soyo motherboard, black PCB.

The short 4 inch ones from svc are REALLY red and light up my chieftec fullsize case with big window very nicely.

Their original red 12 inch several months ago was... pink. But their 12's and 4's now are nice red.

I actually like the smaller ones better!
