Looks like a great game.

Circuit City has it on sale, pre-order, for $39.00...

This thread has been derailed. Feel free to start a new one on the same topic, it will be much quicker (and less painful to those who derailed it) than trying to clean this one up.

Sweet! Didn't even know it was in the making...

I remember the days of playing Red Alert on WWOL...

I think I will skip it. I was unimpressed with RA2, after spending countless hours playing the original Red Alert. Even so, if it wasn't for the DRM I would buy it anyway, because I do like C&C games.

aside from RA, i've been burned by the rest of the C&C series, and the horrible dune 2000 as well. i may be following your lead, but i don't have high expectations for this game.

Lol yeah dune 2000 was bollocks. I never understood that product because they released emperor:battle for dune like a year later or something, and that game was much better. It wasent as good as RA1 etc but it was pretty cool.

I'm going to pass until the DRM is removed.

Does it use SecuROM? I thought they used the same cd check as Oblivion.

Nope, that is Fallout 3. Redalert 3 has a similar SecuROM DRM to Spore.

In other words, bend over.

Was that really needed?

It expresses my attitudes towards EA's business practices.

You're not intelligent enough to do it with words?

I think the RA/C&C series was all downhill after the first iterations of each. I LOVED RA1 and C&C1, but after that I liked each successive title less and less.

I agree with RA (the original) being the best of the Red Alert series, along with the variants/expansions that came for it, notably the superb RA: Retaliation for the PlayStation. But even though I did liked the original Tiberian Dawn a lot, to this day I still think that Tberian Sun is the very best of all the C&C games in the whole series including RA.

They say a picture's worth a thousand words. So several pages of google image's should be worth several thousand words.

BTW, it wasn't a porn link, it just depicted 'toys'.
