Err, i'm pretty sure EA bought out Westwood right before they made Generals.

I think Westwood was bought before they released RA2, but EA didn't get their hands on it, just rushed it
 
i bogged down my old comp in RA2 because I had over 800 units. In order to move them all I had to make them go in groups, with each group filling up the entire moniter.my computer froze for a few seconds. I'm surprised, because my old rig had lower specs than yours.

Yeah, I gave up on WW the day EA took over. 🙁

Granted, they had done pretty poorly with C&C:TS but i always loved the story and had hoped to one day play a sequel to that. Firestorm didn't offer closure on the story.

I luved Tiberian Sun,, The Firestorm Defense,, I remember the first time i played online some n00b thought i was cheating because he didn't know u can build 5 cubes at a time with the Firestorm wall, So this guy was painstakingly building one block at a time, while i had 3 rows ..
 
i think the same thing happens with the slowdowns when i load the busses with 10000 disk bomb people. and when they unload from the bus the game would SLO
 
I would love to see another Command and Conquer game.... We do have supreme commander coming out though 😉

That is only only RTS game in the past several years I've really been looking forward to buying. TA and TA:K was not enough to sate me.
 
just palyed team 6 player bay of pigs map skirmish 3vs3. No slowdown except when superpowers are on. weird.
 
well superpowers when activated seems to slow it down on purpose. I dont know why and i really hadnt noticed ever, never turning on the superpower option(annoying, cheap, non skill based). Carriers/Aegis/Destroyer/That weird apc tank that crushes everything combo for me is good enough.

Can't quite remember her name, but she has some nudes out there and was an actress in several films. I just can't remember her damn name. My friend had the hots for her big time and always had desktop wallpaper for the actress (not in the role of Tanya though).

U can do the same thing in RA2 with Iron Curtain and Engineers,, only they are unstopable
 
I loved RA2 + expansion. The chrono troopers at highest rank a good 15 to 20 of them will wreck havoc in a map. Then there was Yuri Prime, that guy was just cheap beyond cheap. Loved stealing tech from the other side to make your own uber troopers!
