Good question! I have no idea about math projects, as I don't do them.

But apparently RC is down, so that wouldn't be to good for the welcome thread. Maybe just leave them to Fardringle's thread or add them at the very bottom as I suggested. But not in the active list, in my opinion.

I still think that putting only the big good projects in the welcome thread will be sufficient. Fardingle's list can help with the rest. Like I said in another thread, let the DC bug bite good. No need having a newbie struggling with a less than brilliant project. RC has been off for a few days now.

I went from Seti Classic to Seti BOINC. Took me a long time to move over because I had a VERY good system running with classic, but since I knew the project, I could concentrate on getting it running. I have now spread out to other projects.
