Alright, Perhaps this was a foul, if not miscalculated and dumb idea. I suppose I've learned my lesson of not displaying anything, but you people should try and gauge when stupidity is projected for jocular emphasis, and when the unaccurate, mutilated grammar, syntax and mechanics are done with the purpose of intent. Which this was not. Thank you, 0roo0roo, finly someone who got the gist.

Commanche is US Army, not Air Force. It's under development as a replacement for the AH-64, which is army equipment.

Since he was a B-52 pilot, he would have no f'ing clue about close air support hardware, much less close air support hardware for an entirely different branch of the military. The Air Force only operates medium transport helicopters (namely, the HH-60 Pave Hawk, MH-53 Pave Low) and a few UH-1's for training and contingency purposes.

You owned yourself hugely by even asking.

Post in P&N, someone might appreciate your "efforts," but here in OT, where some of us still have an IQ, you won't find anything but antagonism.

Actually, it's shelved until further notice as of September/October. They're gonna upgrade the Apaches again, instead.

Here we go ladies and gentlemen... the resident self-proclaimed aviation expert posting everything what has already been said, along with some other useless information only meant to project his image of knowing all there is about military aircraft.

Looks like 2 people have been owned in this thread.

WASHINGTON - In a dramatic about-face, the Army canceled its Comanche helicopter program Monday after sinking $6.9 billion and 21 years of effort into producing a new-generation chopper.

It is one of the biggest program cancellations in the Army?s history and comes less than two years after the service?s $11 billion Crusader artillery project was dropped after $2 billion had been spent.

Heh, when I started writing that post, none of that had been said. It took a little bit of digging on the .mil sites to check my facts. Nice try, though. You should stick to the photoshops and videos, you're half-decent at that.
