Have to say, the "learn more" link on the recovery.gov is the lamest link ever proclaiming itself of providing additional information.
The * on Tax Relief section part is confusing
Isn't there a $81B section for "Protecting the Vulnerable" in the whole $787B package? Then why does the "*" mention a $61B "protecting the vulnerable" under tax relief? Also, what's "protecting the vulnerable"? Are they talking about the changes to unemployment benefits etc?
Why do they include energy funds, infrastructure funds and education funds in the tax relief part, don't they have there own little "pies"? Or is this just to pad the Tax Relief pie so it looks bigger?
The * on Tax Relief section part is confusing
* Tax Relief - includes $15 B for Infrastructure and Science, $61 B for Protecting the Vulnerable, $25 B for Education and Training and $22 B for Energy, so total funds are $126 B for Infrastructure and Science, $142 B for Protecting the Vulnerable, $78 B for Education and Training, and $65 B for Energy.
