Have to say, the "learn more" link on the recovery.gov is the lamest link ever proclaiming itself of providing additional information.

The * on Tax Relief section part is confusing

* Tax Relief - includes $15 B for Infrastructure and Science, $61 B for Protecting the Vulnerable, $25 B for Education and Training and $22 B for Energy, so total funds are $126 B for Infrastructure and Science, $142 B for Protecting the Vulnerable, $78 B for Education and Training, and $65 B for Energy.

Isn't there a $81B section for "Protecting the Vulnerable" in the whole $787B package? Then why does the "*" mention a $61B "protecting the vulnerable" under tax relief? Also, what's "protecting the vulnerable"? Are they talking about the changes to unemployment benefits etc?

Why do they include energy funds, infrastructure funds and education funds in the tax relief part, don't they have there own little "pies"? Or is this just to pad the Tax Relief pie so it looks bigger?

Im not sure honestly.

The site will expand very rapidly once the money actually starts flowing out to the states/counties in the form of public contracts.

The Truth:

It means spending money on bullshit liberal feelgood programs that will do nothing to help us get out of this economic trouble but will help buy votes for President Pelosi.

Too much tax cuts and not enough infrastructure spending, will probably need another infrastructure bill.
