Recovering deleted text messages from Windows Mobile 6...

Ok, so last week in a highly sleep deprived state i had a number of text messages disappear from my HTC Kaiser/Tilt. Its running windows mobile 6 and i dont think the messages were on my SIM (unless all messages are). I have seen the "save to SIM" option, but these were definitely not "saved to SIM." Any suggestions would great. I lost both incoming and outgoing messages, but only a few of them. Im trying to reconstruct some events from this sleep deprived state (crazy insomnia, totally stress related, no synthetic reason for it to happen). Wrong forum?
 
As far as I know there is no 'recovery' of messages available for WM6. Was it a particular thread for just 1 person? What happens to me is I'll delete a txt message thinking just that 'one' will get deleted, but since I moved to WM6 is treats all txt messages between 1 person as a thread. Deleting it wipes out the whole thread. Does that make sense? IMHO that's how it works unless someone knows otherwise. I've done this several times now. I just don't delete them anymore.
