I posted this over on the Stomp forums but i feel like im getting nothing but blank and confused stares.... Im trying to do something VERY SIMPLE and VERY BASIC here, that every other recording software ive EVER used has been able to do:

when i add a FOLDER to my RNM project from my hard drive like:

c:\MY-MIX\

that has say 20 files beneath it.
but there are a few in there that i dont want on this cd.
i dont want to delete them out of my folder on the harddrive though, i just dont want them on my cd. i should be able to view the files IN RNM that are within this folder i have set to be burned and then remove specific ones from what is to be burned in RNM.

But this doesnt seem to be possible from all I can tell, ...... are you freakin kidding me???
am i the only one who doesnt burn every single file in every folder they ever wanted to record to disc??
HAH!

Its not even what I would consider to be a feature, its more like COMMON SENSE!

RecordNow is a POS. It came with my laptop and I trashed it after 5 mins. Use Nero instead.

That was RecordNow DX, and yes, basically they are both pieces of junk..... but unfortunately, NERO 5.5 and 6.0 will not recordnize my Sony DRX500ul USB DVD/CD burner. :(

Maybe nero doesnt work with USB?

BTW, I finally heard from the people who make RN, and they said believe it or not, you CANNOT do what i said. FREAKING UNBELIEVABLE. How does a piece of software get so popular, and bundled with tons of cd burners when you cant do something so basic and common sense? how does a company make it to version 4.6 with software and not realize that, but update a million other things...ARGH!Q
