Recording Video From Camcorder

Trying to record stuff from camcorder to a vcr , vcr is connected via video 1 and camcorder through video 2. How can I record what I am looking for.

Well it's difficult to know exactly what video 1 and 2 refer to without knowing the model numbers of the vcr and camcorder, but you essentially need to play the camcorder while recording on the vcr. Your cables should go from the outputs on the camcorder to the inputs on the vcr (the same way you would hook it up to a tv). Then you'll probably need to change the vcr to video or aux mode, or whatever way the vcr "sees" what's on those inputs.

You need to connect the camcorder into the video-in on the VCR, not the TV. Then change the TV to view your VCR like you normally do (put it to video 1). And with the VCR's remote, change the channel on the VCR to the (line 1, line 2, video 1, video 2, AUX, or whatever the name of the input is that you plugged the camcorder into).

Now you should be watching the feed from your camcorder thru the VCR, which means you can now record the camcorder's video onto a regular VHS video tape in the VCR.
