Recording Games PC

I just want everyone's opinion on this system setup. I have an old Gateway 433C box lying around and want to put it to use, so I got the notion of turning it into a PC that will record games I'm playing and then edit afterwards. I have a job on the weekends that allows me a whole lot of idle time, so I figured I could edit the movies at work, so the box has to be highly portable. The old Gateway 433C box is just about the right height that I can rapidly transport it from car to computer room with little grief.

Knowing that the entire inside will have to be gutted I went ahead and priced these options for it. I have a 160GB hard drive waiting along with an old 8.4Gb I was going to use as the system drive (loading WinXP on it and that's it), so I've got my storage down. The memory here I will be swapping into my system now which has PC 2700.

Memory: 1 GB PC 3200

Motherboard: Asus P4P800-MX

Power Supply: Powmax 230W mATX

Processor: Intel P4 2.26 Ghz 533mhz

Video Capture Card

Thoughts are appreciated.
