It's legal in 38 (maybe 39) states to record your medical appointments without informing your doctor that you are doing so. You can then listen to the goings on at a later time, share them with family, whomever you choose, even post on social media, AFAIK.
Obviously, this is helpful for remembering what happened, also reviewing terms you didn't get the first time.
Do you do it?
Is it ethical?
Why are the other 11-12 states otherwise?
