Republicans scored a moral victory last night. The Senate parliamentarian found a few provisions in the education area of the reconciliation bill that, while not altering anything substantively, violate the Byrd rule. So the House will need to vote on the Reconciliation bill again, probably later tonight. These changes aren't expected to cause any problems with getting enough votes in the House.
Some on the left are now pushing for the Senate to have a vote on adding the public option back into the bill. I don't expect that to happen, but it's about the only thing that could make this process interesting.
