Front bezel is a little funky - you gotta remove a drive cage to open it up, and the air filter always pops out, but aside from that it's a brick $#!+house.

Picked it up for $74 at UpgradeSource with free shipping. Took forever to get here because of ridiculous processing time, but hey....it beats paying a $20 shipping charge.

I'd go with antec too. I've used antec and cheiftech cases for most of my builds and have been quite happy with them.

The 3000b is excellent. Very nice quality (if the front bezel was metal, there wouldn't be many cases that would touch it) One thing to keep in mind is that the side air duct center will not be directly over the CPU socket center on some motherboards, especially those sockets that are positioned more toward the center of the board. The duct is not directly centered over the CPU socket on my Abit IC7, however, I can see the center of the fan through the hole so all is well. It works very well when extended down to the edge of my Zalman 7000. At full bore, I can feel much air being sucked in. It has cooled the CPU down 3C more as compared to an Antec Super Lanboy. That's a pretty good drop since I use only the rear 120mm fan instead of 2 that the SLB had. I now run the Zalman slower and overall, things are very quiet. My hard drives are a bit warmer, but well below critical areas, so I won't worry about adding the front fan. I got in on the NeoPower 480 from Fry's last week for $49.99. I would say less than $100 for a case and PSU of this quality is a flat out steal.....

The Antec SLK3700, SLK3000 and the Compucase 6A19 are all basically the same case and some of the best for the money. See coolcases.com for some modding ideas. I also like the Silverstone Berserker SST-B032F/FW if you need something a bit bigger... And not to forget the Evercase 42x2 series - one of the quietest cases OOtB and easily made more so with some factory options (rubber drive cushions, etc) - inexpensive, buy direct from Evercase by phone as they don't have an e-commerce function on their web site.

In that price range the SLK3000B's are really hard to beat.

120m/m fans...rubber mounting for the hard drives.

Nice case at any price from a performance point of view.
