i could never determine which temps were for the cpu/hdd/anything else..
for that purpose i use: primarily sandra and everest home edition. everest does what speedfan says, although i'm not sure it's entirely accurate, because it reads my CPU temp as 60 at idle and mid-60's to mid-70s during load. when i touch the hsf it isnt hot so i don't know.. sandra seems to be more accurate with a load of 43C.
