Does anyone here use Skype? What type of setup do you use and recommend?
I narrowed down some of the options to the D-Link USB adapter ($20) and the Phillips travel USB phone ($25).
I really wanted some type of adapter that could connect to my network via RJ-45 or WiFi, thus NOT requiring any PC to be turned on while communicating on Skype. The only options I have found are $120+ WiFi phones which is kind of ridiculous for something I use infrequently.
Did I miss any products that can allow me to use a RJ-11 based cordless phone with an adapter that connects to my network via RJ-45 / WiFi? I don't want to spend over $50, and I don't want a computer that has to stay turned on while talking on Skype. I know it sounds picky, but I thought they would have progressed to this level by now.
