Recommended Antec Case/PSU

I've done tons of research in preparation for my build in mid-January. One thing I haven't researched much is the Case and PSU, so can somebody tell me up-front: what's a good case and PSU combination from Antec?
These are the tentative power-hungry specs:
A8N SLI-DELUXE Motherboard
A64 3200 Winchester CPU
6800 GT Graphics card (potentially 2 in the future)
DVD-RW and SATA HD

I also plan on getting about a GB of medium-quality RAM and to overclock it as well as the CPU.
I think this is a good PSU ( http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=17-103-924&depa=1 ) but it's just too expensive. Anyone able to recommend a good PSU and a good case? Preferably a PSU and Case combo, but it seems like the Antecs that do come with PSU's come with weak ones.

if money is not a real problem, a super lanboy and that powersupply would be a great combination.

Too expensive? The PSU is something you do NOT gimp out on. Since the PSU is connected to everything in your comp, if it goes bad everything goes bad. You don't have to spend 120 bucks on the PSU but if you're gonna be running dual-GTs in the future you might wanna invest on something nicer, at least 480w good brand name.

Sorry for triple post, but basically what I'm looking at is $125 to $150 total for both the case and PSU. Available cash may go up or down depending on the cost of RAM (haven't researched yet) and if the prices of the motherboard and GPU drop significantly in the next month.

Ok both your links link to the same thing.

Anyway I have that same PSU, works beautifully and the fan controller makes it great so I don't have to listen to my PSU hum away. 33a on the 12v rail, but if you're gonna be running dual-GTs 460 might not be enough.

I'd say either of those PSUs should be enough.. as for the price difference, not sure exactly why so much.

Probably a retarded question, but when you say "Good luck with SLI" are you being sarcastic because it'll generate too much heat for a small case or what? Just wondering because that is one of the things that crossed my mind.

I'm actually shopping around for a nice PSU for an A8N-SLI based system too. I don't have much personal experience with those power supplies, so I can't offer much help there. I'm putting the system inside a Sonata case, which I already have. I have the True 380S power supply still too, but that's obviously a little lacking. I'll only be starting out with 1 HD, 2 optical, and 1 6800GTO, so I'm hoping I'll at least be able to get up and running with that, while I keep shopping around.

Some things to keep in mind. The motherboard uses a 24 pin EATX connector, not the 20 pin ATX one that you'll find on a lot of power supplies. If the power supply only has a 20 pin connector, you can get a 20 to 24 pin adapter, but that's kind of a hassle. People also report that just leaving the 4 extra pins unconnected is fine, but personally I wouldn't want to do that.

Also, depending on the video card, you'll probably have to use 6 pin PCI Express power connectors, not the standard 4 pin molex. Again, you can get an adapter (two 4-pin to one 6-pin), but things like that tend to clutter up the inside of a case.

No, I just refuse to go to SLI even tho there are performance gains. I don't want to have 2 huge video cards in my case. So everyone thats going to SLI I say good luck with SLI.

If your going to go sli. i suggest you reevaluate your budget, the last place you want to cost cutting is your psu. just a thought

Just wanted to point out that the current model of the Sonata comes with a 380 watt power supply that cranks out 24A on the 12V line. This is more than enough for most users. Don't worry unless you are going to load up and max out the case with drives and accessories.

And they BOTH say they should be quality so it's not like "Either get a quality 380W or a crappy 510W".

That X-Connect looks good. Does anyone disagree? As it stands I think I will be going with the the Super Lanboy and the X-Connect 500W.

the sli boards come with 24 pins. if you intend to use sli with 6800's you should get the 24 pin. asus has the ez plug so you can use the 20 pins with dual 6600's
