I just had my old Antec smartpower 2.0 400w die on me, so I need to replace it.
Any ideas on a PSU that is <$80, works with nforce4 mobo, and will be able to run an 8800gts in the future. Thanks.

Enhance ENP-5150GH 500W PSU, go through froogle to get it from eWiz for $67 before shipping. One of the best deals out there 🙂

The PSU at the link in my sig can probably handle that - many think they need way more power than they actually do.

You can get the Corsair HX520 for $90 ATM...might be worth the $10...plus it ships free</end quote></div>

from where?

buy.com w/ GCO

Oh ok. Actually as of right now, buy.com has it for 89.99 free shipping without GCO. With GCO knocks it down to $79.99. Holy crap that's cheap, makes me wish I had a reason to buy one 😛

I second that, from personal experience. It runs my rig plus some fans and leds.
This PSU has 420W on the 12V rails alone!
