Does anyone have any recommendations to cool a dual PIII 1.0 ghz setup? Should the board (I'm thinking I'm going with a VP6) get any cooling? Also, for the individual PIII 1.0 ghz chips, which cooling setup is good for a dual setup? All of this will be in a Supermicro 750a case with lots of fans going on. :D

You would only need some Orbs or Intel Retil fans if you are not going to overclock. The VP6 is a very stable motherboard in my opinion.

junthin i knew you were going to do something cool with that deal :) have fun!

as for cooling, i went with the FOP32 for my single setup, but going with orbs in a well ventilated case should do a decent job!

haven't gotten my slocket yet, so i'll let you know. should be here within a week :) (can't wait....) did you power yours up yet? how are they looking?

I've heard a lot of good things about the alphas, but they're a bit expensive for me. good luck ;)
