Recommendations on a scanner

Hi Guys,
I work at an architechture firm that needs to buy a scanner under 150 bucks. I'm looking into buying from either canon or epson but dont know which one to go for. Any recommendations or alternatives. Thanks
 
Maybe you should consider the scanners that have the built in "negatives" reader. I saw an HP model that had it, and I'm sure many companies have models that have this feature as well. It lets you feed in old style (35mm?) negatives and it makes them into image files. IDK, just thought you should consider it when purchasing.
