I am starting some research on a pool table, and was wondering if I could have any recommendations as to brand name and good prices etc.
I want something that is not a piece of junk, something that looks/is high quality. The tables with the light brown cheap a$$ looking wood does not qualify. A table that is solidly built and won't start rocking and leaning to and fro after playing a few games on it is good.
Initial ones I saw were in the $800 range at Sears. However, there has got to be a better price/quality deal.
