Recommendations needed for upgrade

Greetings all,
I have been researching and contemplating upgrading my video card for the past few weeks. I?ve narrowed my selection down to two cards, so any input on the best performer (or if there are less expensive cards) would be greatly welcomed.

EVga GeForce FX 5700 Ultra, 128MB DDRII, 128-bit, 8X AGP
$179

EVga GeForce FX 5900SE, 128MB DDR, 256-bit, 8X AGP
$189

I will be replacing my aging 64MB Elsa Gladiac GeForce 2U card. So I am trying to get the best performance to cost ratio possible under $190. I was burned out on the ATI cards after quiet a few bad experiences in the past, namely with the drivers.

System Specs:
2-Year old Gateway
P4 2.0GHz 533 FSB
512MB RDRAM
40GB 7200RPM Maxtor HD

spend the xtra 10 bucks and get the 5900...

I own a 5700u, good card, BAAAAAD buy, only get a 5700u if you find it for under $150 dollars, the 5900 wins here, hands down. Don't make the same mistake I did.

system is still pretty decent. I would definitely get the 5900. This baby rocks. I am a proud owner.

a proud owner....do you have Nvidia decals on your car too VIAN? Nvidia bed sheets? coming from a guy who would rather have a geforce2 over a 9800XT, and thinks 256 is necessary for games, i would discredit everything you say.
