So I have a decent sized bottle of really nice truffle olive oil, and I need some ideas on how to use it for dinner tonight. I'm making a pasta primavera, so would it would good tossed with the pasta, or too overpowering? I don't want to just use it for dipping bread in...

Wait...olive oil comes from olives. I know this for fact. Truffles are members of the mushroom family AFAIK. So...how do you get "olive oil" from truffles? :hmm:

"Truffle Oil"...is that like..."Ardvark Paste?"

It's usually "truffle infused olive oil."

Anyway I've noticed that truffle oil is extremely overpowering and generally will overpower whatever you put it on, regardless of what it is. Given that, it will still make your food taste absolutely incredible, regardless of what it is.
