u guys have any recommendations for some good fast paced books...kinda like Digital Fortress...it doesn't have to be on that kind of a subject but at the same speed as that book was.

thnks in advance

My 8 year old grandson and daughter were over on Easter. The grandson was asking about dinosaurs. I told him that we'd get him a book on them and he could see what they looked like. He scrunched up his nose at me and said, "you can't learn anything from a book!"

ya that looks interesting i might pick that up

Since most of Alistair MacLean's book are old, you might have trouble finding them. But if you do, I'm sure you'll like them. Some other good ones are:

The Guns of Navarone
Golden Rendezvous
Ice Station Zebra

If OP wants to start the Jack Ryan series, I'd suggest starting with Patriot Games.

Start with Hunt for Red October first. That's Clancy's first Jack Ryan book.

WEB Griffin's Presidential Agent series is pretty fast-paced. Not a whole lot of depth, but it holds your attention, and the action is described well.
