questions

1- any programs which give discounts to usf students?/college students?
2- need a basic external hd (around 60 gb) any good cheap ones?
3- sister needs a good labtop (not apple) used to do simple work.. Needs for her time at college. Mid range.. portable... and reliable since she will be using it for over 4 years..

thank you

you know, not to threadcrap, but its funny you should say "labtop" because the other day, one of my friends goes, "So is it Laptop or Labtop?" This is the one that thought he was going to play oblivion with an X600 SE. Though in the grand scheme of things, i guess it doesn't matter. we know what you are talking about. sorry.

To answer questions one and three, dell builds reliable systems, as well as Lenovo (IBM). They both also offer student and educational discounts.
for number 2, i would say just get on newegg, search for external hdd's, and find one with some good reviews.
