Recommendations for a new multi-tool?

I used to have an old school Leatherman Wave (the one without the interchangeable bits) but that got lost. Can anyone recommend a multi-tool, or is the new Wave pretty much the best? Looking for under $100, rust resistance would be great as sometimes the tool will get very wet.

I have this and don't particularly like it, FYI. Gerber quality is great, but I don't find this tool to be particularly practical. Takes too long to do anything with it.

So on that note I would also like recommendations for good tools.

For heavy duty reliability I really like the Victorinox SwissTool and the Leatherman Surge is in a class by itself. If you are looking to save weight and size the Leatherman Skeletool or Victorinox Spirit are good choices.
