class D junk :awe:
why not just go on garage sale an get an used 2 channel amp? Chances are you'll find an old amp people are trying to get rid of and it's the good stuff.

Also, don't get 7.1 when you are looking for stereo.

oooo Polk TSi 400 for 200 bux each

don't know the different classifications of amps but if it's associated with junk, then D can't be good.

how are a pair of those speakers going to fit on my desk?

They can hold up your desk :awe:

All the slim receivers will be Class D. Class D has come a long way, so you may not have to be too concerned about it.

How about just buying 2 of these? Still too big?

I contemplated buying a pair of the Rokit as my computer speaker, but since I am in the ht room anyway, I just turn on my ht.

err, nothing is smaller than that and sound good...may as well wear headphones.

my energy RC micro's are miniscule and pretty good.
these are slightly larger and i was hoping that their omni sound field thingy would help in immersing the room with sound.
