also i recommend buying monitors from a actual retailer, i got mine from Best Buy. i think its a good idea mainly for the return policies, especially if you buy an extended warranty. all you need to get a new monitor is one bad pixel compared to the 10s'-20 some manufactures require. also if you can find it onsale its practically the same as the price you would get through an etailer with out the hassle of shipping things back and forth if something is wrong.

yeah I would never buy an lcd online. too many have a dead pixel or something right out of the box.

I bought the HP W2207 and I couldn't be happier. I game on it all the time, and have no problems. When I bought it (August 2007) it was one of the best out, but I don't know about it anymore.

The 2232 does not have the four VESA holes in the back for mounting, so you're stuck with a stand monitor only!

What do you mean 6ms is too slow for gaming? 8ms or under is fine.

another sucker for specs.

I am sure top level FPS competitors will see a slight advantage, but most anyone else wouldn't...also some of those guy run their screens at extremely weird sizes that most couldn't even play at (due to not knowing what they are looking at no due to technology)

Too many worry about specs like contract ratio and lag and totally ignore what the thing actually displays like.

Got my LG L227WT this morning and COD4 looks awesome compared to my old CRT. Don't take my opinion as gold though as this is my first LCD experience 😉
