Its either I have dry scalp, or the shampoo im using right now is irritating my scalp. I think its dry scalp since there are tiny white stuff that will come out of my hair unlike big yellow chunks if you actually have dandruff. But I am no hair/scalp expert so any input would be greatly appreciated.

symptoms: small white stuff and itching of the scalp on the crown area once in a while.

The super cuts I go to has this tea tree shampoo that always does the trick for me.

OR

I use Selson Blue medicated.

hope that helps.

edi* oh and make sure you arent using hair products with alcohol in it (gel, hairspray, whatever) that dries out your scalp like a sunuvagun.

awesome, thanks for the heads up. Although I have a couple of questions....

Does this tea tree shampoo have a name?

Selson blue is a dandruff shampoo, but does it do the trick for dry scalp also?

Thank you for your input.

edit: I do not use any hair products... i go to work with a nice and messy "i just woke up" look. =D

It differs for different people. You could try head and shoulders, selsun blue, neutrogina (tar based), nixoderm etc.
All of these or one of these should work for you.

The Tea Tree is by Paul Mitchell I think. It is relatively expensive at about $15-$20 a bottle, but really tingles. It doesn't work for my dry scalp but feels good on the head. You can get it at Salons.
