I usually wear sports shoes but I figured I need a pair of loafers as I'm finding out that women really care about the types of shoes you wear.

That's the type of shoe I wear, but Sperry isn't my favorite brand. I always preferred Sebago shoes. Last time I bought them new, they were still made in the USA.

Go easy on the salt. Make sure the meat is cooked to your liking, then add you flavoring to each bite.

I've been meaning to get Sperry's too. Whenever there's a sale, I never can find the right size and color.

I am wearing some Rockport shoes that are black rubber on the soles and look like leather on top but it may be man made leather uppers, because they have always been pliable and soft. They look like a kind of casual black leather shoe.

Why do you prefer them? I just checked; they're nice but really expensive.

My favorite shoe, ex girlfriend bought me a pair, very comfortable. For me they would be too expensive, but just throwing it out there for style.

You might check out Nun Bush shoes as well. I've only seen 1 specific model at the stores when I was shopping around, but MAN they are comfortable to me. I've bought 3 pair over the past 6 years or so. After my 1st pair wore out, I bought 2 more pair just like it: one brown, one black. You don't have to tie them very tight to get a good fit (at least for me), and so I just slip them on and off. It's about time for me to look for some more cause I've got scratches all over my current ones now.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure I paid about $50 a pair.

Made in the USA is a big reason, but more tangibly, They fit my feet better, and I like that they don't have a bunch of padding and stuff in the insole. I don't remember if Sperry uses padding, but some brands do. Synthetics in shoes make your feet stink, and I find the rubber a little uncomfortable after awhile. Padded shoes may feel a bit better when brand new, but stripped down shoes conform to your feet over time, and are more comfortable over the long haul.
