Hello,
Am finally upgrading my desktop after 11 years - in a way complete new build. Pls find my build proposition in attachment. Current configuration is without monitor and graphics card, pls do suggest them as well.
My existing graphics card went dead long long ago. So integrated graphics has been my savior all along without games.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for.
Mostly browsing, office work, very occasional gaming (Mostly into shooters and action adventures like Hitman, Red dead redemption, GTA etc.,). Also should be able to play old games from 2002-2018 as well in similar genre. I don't upgrade my PC usually. Would like my system to be capable to play latest and greatest at decent quality. No need of Ultra high settings.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
My budget is 1500USD including graphics card and monitor. Can go 200 USD more if really required

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
India

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
We can't be expected to scour the internet on your behalf, chasing down deals in your specific country... Again, help us, help YOU.
I will search it locally, or various parts from different online websites

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
Intel processor only as it has been extremely reliable for me all these years. Will need to buy a reliable graphics card that will stay tight for few years at-least as my earlier radeon went dead within few years without even 10% use in games. Am preferring Intel Arc770 due to its price. Pls suggest any alternatives as well. Budget for it is maximum 400-450 USD as it will cross 500-550 USD in indian price.

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Entirely new build except for existing HDD.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
No overclocking needed for my use

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
this time, at-least 1440p. I have BenQ G222HDL as of now. Will need a good jump.

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it.
I have been researching for more than 2 months and decided on some config. Will build immediately if this is fine

10. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?
Only OS and office.

Config looks OK, except for:

RAM: I prefer Kingston. Try to go for DDR4-3600 CL16.

GPU: Try to get an RX 6800 or Geforce 3060 12GB. ARC A770 is not bad but you said you want to play older games. ARC has issues with older games. Unless you know for sure that the games you like are known to work fine on ARC, it's not a good choice. But if you are forward looking and want to enjoy DX12 games, I think ARC is good enough.

PSU: I don't know how good the MSI MPG is. But if you know someone who's been using it problem-free or your local retailer can give you a good warranty on it, I guess you can go with that.

Hello, Below is the final configuration per guidance excluding monitor and graphics card.
Am from India and will have to pay premium for every product listed below locally. I won't be upgrading in near time anyways as Intel socket would not be valid after an year. New MOBO will not be applicable either. My budget is only 1500 USD and if needed maximum 1750 USD or so, not 2000 USD at all.

Intel Core i5-13500 2.5 GHz 14-Core Processor
Deepcool AK400 66.47 CFM CPU Cooler - Air cooler
Gigabyte B760M AORUS ELITE AX (rev. 1.0)
G.Skill F5-6000J3636F16GX2-RS5K Desktop Ram Ripjaws S5 Series 32GB (16GBx2) DDR5 6000MHz
Western Digital Black SN770 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME - SSD
Adata XPG Core Reactor 850 Watt SMPS 80 Plus Gold Certification Fully Modular PSU With Active PFC
Lian Li O11 Air Mini ATX Mid tower - Cabinet (Coming with 10k INR in India)

Am opting for 850W PSU just in case considering later needs. Corsair RM750x is not at all available, and only RM750e is available at a high premium. Only MSI MPG A850GF and Core reactor ones are within 9k INR. Cooler master V850 Gold V2 is also expensive by 2k INR more.

Would like to buy graphics card later with some money. Only want to buy an excellent 2k monitor now.

G.Skill F5-6000J3636F16GX2-RS5K may be slightly faster but runs at 1.35V

T-Force FLARD532G6000HC38ADC01 doesn't seem bad and runs at 1.25V

Personally, I would choose the one running at the lower voltage.

Available ones are DDR5 6000 C40, 5600 C40, 5600 C36, 6000 CL36 (Higher price may be but not clear as sites won't have details like in US)

Is there any notable difference in everyday use and gaming if we get CL40 and lower voltage? Pls suggest. Higher voltage will have issue?

I use Arctic PWM PST fans in my systems and you can get 5-packs of either size for around $40 on Amazon. Been running them 2/7 for years on my setup w/ no failures yet. I did manage to snag one while powered on and e-mailed them and had a replacement within a week no hassle.
