I am looking into buying a new stereo system, but I am unsure which to get. I listen to a lot of trance music which requires a good bass, and I also play games. I was thinking on getting the Yamaha TSS-1 Dolby Digital / DTS 5.1 because it was low in price. However, I doubt this system would give me the bass I am looking for, as I currently have Altec Lansing ADA880 system and they do sound very good. A Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 system would be nice, but MSRP @ 399 makes me stand clear from it. Same issue arrises with the Video Logic DigiTheatre DTS system, the price is so high! What would you guys recommend as a stereo system to include with my extreme system?

System specifications:

Tyan Thunder K7
2x 1.53 Athlon MP
2x Thermalright SK-6 w/ 60-80mm adapter w/ 80mm Delta 68CFM fan

Sunon 120mm 109CFM case fan
2 gig DDR ECC Registered Ram
2x Quantum Atlas10k 36.4 GB SCSI HD

I'm looking for 5.1 speakers to utilize my audigy 5.1 features... I have however looked at them, but tend to stay away from them now, because my current ones are 4.1 as well... I was sucked into that delema once, it won't happen again. They advertised 5.1 speakers when they truely are 4.1.

The Klipsch is what I was thiking as well, but its very expensive and my system kinda dried out my bank account... I am however looking for the best possible quality with bass, and from what I've read (i've never heard any of those speakers I named as of yet) the Klipsch seems to be the best quality wise, but not price wise...

Once you heard the klipsch you'll save your pennies for it. else move on to a DVD system combo and hook them up to your computer and you thank my later for that extra DVD player. :) check out Sony's DVD Combo You might get more than what you asked for ;).
