I got it for $427.49 + $59.99 (4 year at home service plan) + tax

My previous TV which I returned to CC was the panasonic 27" for $399.99 + $59.99 (3 year in store service plan) + tax

Thats not bad. I bought the 27" SL100 2 weeks ago for $480 with a $50 mail in rebate and 10% back on a gift card. When I went to pick it up after ordering online, they (for some reason, I didn't ask questions) took off $75 from the price. So net total I paid around $330 for a great TV.

Oh and good choice on the Sony. People seem to love the panasonic but I've always had great buys with sony products.

You might need to go through that truckload to find one that works, though. :p

LOL I will never buy an Apex tv again. My roommate got a 20" at the beginning of the year and it was by far the worst TV I've ever seen. The picture quality was horrible, and the sound, in addition to a constant buzz, made a humm if the sound ever went below a certain frequency. I tried watching alias on it and the low, creepy tones were horrendous.

I went through 3 panasonic's myself. First one had this purple "splotch" in the top left corner after a day of usage. 2nd one had no manual or remote control batteries so I returned it right away (fearing it was a used one). 3rd one had picture problems (vertical lines were crooked in my cable box menu)

I read somewhere that CC might be going out of business in the future. Has anyone else heard this? I wonder what they'll do with all the customers that bought an ESP from them.
I don't think you'll see this happen anytime soon. Circuit City isn't going anywhere - for now.

Looks like a pretty good deal on that WEGA, but i've never seen a WEGA screen.., I got a Sylvania 32" for $241 after tax a few days ago from Sears...not a WEGA, but for $240 it's a steal..it's actually has really good picture quality (compared to 27" Panasonic and 36" RCA)

Good deal on an excellent TV. I have this same exact tv and I have no complaints at all. I love it. Congrats.

I brought two Panasonic flat screens back to the store the day I bought them because of horrible geometry and color balance problems.

Bought a FS100 WEGA 27" and haven't looked back. The 16x9 "squeeze" mode is an added benefit - squeezes 600 lines down into the letterbox area. So essentially, since there's no such thing as a HD DVD, I'm watching my DVD movies at the highest possible resolution available. No need for a HD set yet - there aren't enough channels broadcasting in HD so why bother. Plus no HD DirecTivo either.
