Recommend the best scanner with a feeder under $600? (done)

I'm thinking of getting one but I have no idea on where to start.

I would go with either the Epson 1250 at SRP of $129 or the Epson 1650 at SRP of $199...

go with an HP then. i think it's about 412

u will not find a decent scanner with a doc feeder for under 400 considering the doc feeder itself is 400 bucks!

I've narrowed it down to the Epson 1640SU which has the autofeeder included for $450 and the HP Scanjet 5400+feeder for $400.

Anyone with experiences with these units?

In general I would give the thumbs up to the Epson as well, but I do not know either of those systems.

However, you can get the Epson for ~ $353:
