Recommend some good trance...

Well, how about Paul van *** (or Dyk) - I think his 'Flaming June', 'For an Angel' and 'Another Way' among many others are real masterpieces.

He is the most worthless, talentless hack that rap has ever seen. What happened to rap since 2000? It completely went down the drain. Who rememebers death row records? The chronic? It is ironic that .50 is so aptly named.

Lately I've been listening to channel 80 (BPM) or channel 82 (The System) on XM Radio, they have a decent selection of trance music.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I've been checking out their music and it's not bad. It's more on the ambient/easy listening side of trance, but that style of music does have its place. If you like these guys, also check out Amethystium (also their homepage here). Amethystium are the best I've ever heard at what they do.

Other good mp3.com trance music I've downloaded and liked over the last couple of years include: 303infinity, Andrea Priora, Astral Projection, Asura, Aura, Bassic, Classic9, Deeper in Zen, Divinorum, DJ Drunken Master, DJ Light, Fluid in Motion, Goa Syndrome, Infinite Beat, Karoly & Monica, LHT Project, Lightworks, Mangoo, Minister, Nexa Psionica, Nexxus, PPK, Stev, Trance Control, Tranceparent, Tryptomine, and many more. A lot of that music is no longer available for download (since Universal bought out mp3.com and changed the "pay for play" policy), but some of it still is. And it's surprisingly good, commercial quality music.

I'd love to hear more recommendations of what you all like, beyond the stock "Oakenfold" answer. What have you heard that's unique and interesting, and touched a chord inside your soul?
