I'm looking for some casual pants that are NOT cargo pants. I got two pairs of khakis a few months ago that were thicker material than normal khakis, they weren't pleated, and the seem stitching was more like a pair of jeans than khakis. They just have a more casual look to them than regular khakis. Something I could wear when I go out without looking like a dork or a teenager. Anyone know of a pair of pants like this?

The Gap has some really nice khakis with a comfortable cut that don't leave them drooping around the crack of your a-hole.

Heh, thanks. :) The two pairs I already have are from Old Navy actually.

I'll check Express for Men, if they have one around here.

Heh, yeah I just looked at their website... they want $60 for a pair of pants! They're having a sale right now though, pants starting at $20, so I'll see if they have anything worth buying. I like Old Navy, but they only had the pants I liked in 3 colors, and I bought the two that I liked.

I used to just buy jeans at ON but I just don't think they're high enough quality. I still buy most of my shirts from ON though.

Express jeans for me these days.

I have a pair of Silvertabs from '98. You can't really tell that they're that old.

mine are older than that :)

mugs - if you don't put a crease in your khakis they look more casual. but you don't want them wrinkly, either. fold them at the seams.

When I went, they had the dark gray, the dark khaki, and the blue. The color of the dark gray looked a little uneven and splotchy, I got the other two. I'll go back and see if they have light khaki though.
